Sven B: As Lead Concept Artist on RIFT I would like to thank everyone who participated in our first Concept Art Contest! I was surprised by the enthusiasm and number of submissions we received. All of us who were involved in the judging had a great time going through all of the great ideas that were submitted. I love seeing the ideas players have and how close, or different, they are from our own. I honestly can’t wait to see everyone’s ideas in the next Concept Art Contest!
Marigold: Thank you for your participation in our first RIFT concept competition! It is very motivating as developers to see this kind of art involvement from the community. Based on this contest it seems we have a lot of artistically creative and talented players. I really had a good time going through the ideas and designs presented to us. There was a lot of effort put into them, and I was pleasantly surprised by the volume of entries we received. I can’t wait for the 3D models to be created and see them brought to life in the RIFT world!
